Terms of service
Last updated November 2, 2026
These terms cover your use of jellypad at jellypad.studio ("jellypad", "we"). By using it, you agree to them. Questions go to support@jellypad.studio.
Your work is yours
You own what you make with jellypad and what you upload to it. To run the service, you give us permission to store, process and display it: to save your designs, show them back to you, and show anything you share to the people you share it with. That permission ends when you delete it, apart from copies in nightly backups, which are gone within 30 days. Images and videos you export are yours to use however you like, including commercially.
What you can't upload or share
Don't use jellypad to upload, make or share anything that:
- you don't have the rights to,
- is illegal, including sexual content involving minors,
- harasses, threatens or invades someone's privacy, or
- spreads malware or attacks the service or its users.
Don't try to get around the plan limits, overload the service, or reach data that isn't yours. We may remove content that breaks these rules and suspend accounts that keep breaking them. If you think something on jellypad infringes your rights, email support@jellypad.studio.
jellypad is ours
Your work is yours, and jellypad is ours. The app itself, including its code, shaders, effects, starters, interface design, name and logo, belongs to jellypad and is protected by copyright and trademark law. Using jellypad doesn't give you any rights to it beyond using it as these terms describe.
Please don't:
- copy, rebuild or redistribute jellypad or any substantial part of it, including its shaders and effects,
- reverse-engineer, decompile or extract its code,
- scrape it or access it with bots, other than search engines indexing public pages,
- resell it, or offer it as part of another product or service, or
- use the jellypad name or logo in a way that suggests we made or endorse something we didn't.
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.
Accounts
You sign in with Google and are responsible for what happens under your account. You can stop using jellypad at any time, and ask us to delete your account as described in the privacy policy.
Free and paid plans
The editor is free. A free account can keep a limited number of saved designs. A paid subscription raises that limit and adds features, as described where you subscribe.
- Billing: subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, and renew automatically until you cancel. Prices include any tax shown at checkout.
- Cancelling: cancel anytime from billing in your account menu. You keep paid features until the end of the period you've paid for, and aren't charged again.
- Refunds: payments aren't refunded for partial months, except where the law requires it. If something went wrong, such as a double charge, email us and we'll make it right.
- After a plan ends: your saved designs stay readable. Saving more than the free limit, or using paid features, needs an active subscription.
- Price changes: we'll email you at least 30 days before a price change applies to your subscription.
The service
We work to keep jellypad running and your designs safe, but it's provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. It may change, have bugs or be unavailable at times. Keep your own copies of anything important, for example by exporting it.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it, or $50 if that's more.
Ending things
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we ever shut jellypad down, we'll give at least 30 days' notice so you can export your work, and refund any unused part of a subscription.
Changes and law
If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top, and tell signed-in people about anything significant before it takes effect. Using jellypad after that means you accept the new terms. These terms are governed by the laws of New York, USA.
